Shanghai stocks reversed early losses today to end the morning slightly higher as data showing Chinese inflation slowed last month fuelled hopes the government will unveil fresh economy-boosting measures.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.42%, or 15.48 points, to 3,662.36, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.90%, or 19.81 points, to 2,211.41.
But in Hong Kong the benchmark Hang Seng Index fell 1.19%, or 270.32 points to 22456.45. – AFP, November 10, 2015.
